The Scoop: The City of Raleigh Parks, Recreation and Cultural Resources Department and Dorothea Dix Park are hosting the 1st Annual FallFest at Dix Park event. The event will feature a family-focused atmosphere with food/drinks, live entertainment, kids and adult activities, so much more!

Benson Mule Days

The Scoop: Join the Benson Area Chamber of Commerce, Inc. for rodeos, dances, a carnival, vendors, concerts, and one of the largest parades in North Carolina!

Trick or Treating in The Maze

The Scoop: Dress up and bring the little munchkins to Trick or Treating in the Maze! No spooks here and there's so much to do! Visit the animals, go on a hayride and wander through the child-friendly maze for all kinds of treats and fun and get a pumpkin! Stroll through our Fairy Tale Trail and read Spookley, the Square Pumpkin's bullying prevention message. Enjoy the playground, soil tunnel and diggin' pit, double barrel slide, plus lots of games. You'll also be able to pose for a family photo with Silas and Sadie Scarecrow, The Minions and Spookley!

33rd International Festival of Raleigh

The Scoop: Discover the World in Raleigh at the International Festival of Raleigh's 33rd anniversary. Over fifty local ethnic communities participate with great international food, cultural exhibits, ethnic crafts and lessons, and bazaars with varieties of international items for sale. Two stages feature global dance performances and music, and the kid's corner offers fun for young citizens of the world. This year's theme is Celebrations Around The World!
